Beach Wedding Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony is held at the resort venue and the ceremony setup follows the same principles as all our other weddings. For the reception, the resort normally supplies the food and beverage service, reception tables, and reception chairs, which we monitor carefully. We recommend and use resorts that we know can deliver the level of quality and expertise we expect for our wedding clients.

What to Expect at Resort Venues
Because of other guests, outside music and excessive noise usually have a 10pm curfew. Some resorts offer a late-night venue (often the rain fallback venue) where celebrations can continue until 2am, subject to additional fees and extended bar package hours.

Planning Process Overview
After completing our questionnaire, if the couple have not yet booked a resort venue, we send a list of recommended venues so they can choose their preferred location. Once we speak with the chosen resort and confirm availability for the wedding date, we send our complete online proposal for review.
At that stage, the menu and bar package figures are usually close budgetary estimates because final food and beverage choices are normally confirmed after booking.

After Booking: Detailed Wedding Planning
Once booked, the planning becomes more comprehensive. We send the couple our preferred wedding vendor list so they can choose their favourite hair and makeup artist, photographer, videographer, and other key suppliers.
We then send the resort food and beverage menus so the couple can choose the most suitable menu and bar package. Once those choices are confirmed with both the couple and the resort, the menu and bar costs are firmed up and the online cost proposal / wedding budget is updated.

Design, Ceremony Script & Final Deliverables
As with our ceremony-only weddings, Paul writes separately a few months before the wedding with example ceremony scripts so the couple can design their ceremony with him.
The final deliverables are a wedding day schedule and layout plan bringing all planning decisions together in one place. Once approved by the couple, this is shared with all stakeholders involved in the wedding around one month before the wedding date.
