Privacy Policy
What we collect when you enquire, what we do with it, and how to ask us to remove it.
This page is maintained by Unique Phuket (Paul & Supparin) to answer common questions about how we handle the personal information you share with us. It is not a certification and it is not legal advice. If a published wording is important to you, please ask us before sending personal information.
Who we are
Unique Phuket is an independent wedding planning practice led by Paul and Supparin, based in Kathu, Phuket, Thailand, and operating since 2012. When you enquire through this website your message is read in person by Paul or Supparin — there is no sales desk and no third-party agent.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, an approximate date or month, the kind of ceremony you are considering, and any notes you add about guest numbers or location preferences. We do not ask for, and we do not need, identification documents at the enquiry stage.
Once you ask us to plan your wedding, we collect the additional information needed to deliver the day: passport details for legal registration if you have chosen a legal ceremony, supplier contact details, and the practical logistics of your itinerary.
Our website uses standard server logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and to understand which pages couples are reading. We use lightweight analytics to measure traffic in aggregate. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell or share visitor data with advertising networks.
How we use it
We use your enquiry only to reply to you, to plan your wedding if you ask us to, and to keep an honest record of the work we have done together. We never pass your message to other planners, agencies, or vendors without telling you first.
Suppliers we engage on your behalf (the celebrant, the photographer, the venue, the florist) receive only the information they need to do their part of the day — typically your names, the date, the venue, and a guest count.
How long we keep it
Enquiry messages that do not progress to a planning agreement are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. For weddings we have planned, we retain a working record of the booking, the itinerary and the supplier invoices for as long as is reasonable to support warranty, accounting and the wedding film archive. You can ask us to remove your record at any time.
Photographs and wedding films
Photographs and films of a wedding remain the work of the photographer and filmmaker who created them. Where a couple has given us permission, we may publish a small selection on Unique Phuket as a Real Wedding or Wedding Film, always credited to the named photographer. If a published image is yours and you would like it taken down, please write to us and we will remove it.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for the site to work and for basic, aggregated analytics. We do not run third-party advertising cookies. If we add a payment, booking or chat tool that sets additional cookies, we will name it here.
Your rights
Under Thailand's PDPA, the UK Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR — whichever applies to you — you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to withdraw consent, and to ask us to delete it. We will honour any such request promptly and without charge.
To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, write to Paul & Supparin directly. We reply in person, usually within one Phuket working day.
