How To Plan Your Wedding Budget
The first step in How to Plan Your Wedding is to determine a budget that you are comfortable with. The key driver of any wedding budget is the wedding venue choice and more importantly the number of wedding guests.
We at Unique Phuket can advise so just get in touch and we can advise. But if your budget is restricted, we have some great reasonably price wedding venues and just ensure you keep your guest numbers manageable.
As part of this wedding budget planning, the next step is to choose a suitable date to get married in Phuket. We advise at least 1 year ahead for Villa Weddings and 3 months for resort & beach weddings
Wedding Venues
There are some wonderful Luxury Event Villas that are ideal for hosting your Destination Wedding in Phuket. However, almost all of these villas do require a minimum 3-night stay and then a Wedding Event fee.
Phuket Beach Resorts offer excellent values for money with a reasonable event fee and are ideal if you have a large number of guests or planning your Wedding in the wetter months of the year – as their offer more options for wet weather.
There are a number of stunning remote beach for your Destination beach wedding and these are ideal for that Dream Beach Wedding , Wedding Vow Renewals or Wedding Elopement .
For smaller groups, we can arrange for the Reception on the beach but with larger wedding guest numbers we would recommend an alternative 2nd venue for your wedding reception.
Also, since Thai Monk Blessings are no longer allowed in Temples, we perform the blessing at the beach or other suitable venues.

How To Plan Your Wedding - Wedding Deposit
Having following this advice on how to plan your wedding, we are hopefully at a stage where you feel comfortable to confirm your wedding plans with a deposit for your wedding venue and wedding planner. This will lock in various stakeholders and block their schedule for your special day.
Luxury Event Villas and resorts invariably will ask for a 50% deposit with the balance 60 days before. When confirming accommodation, these bookings are invariably 100% payment to confirm.
We at Unique Phuket have a very comfortable wedding payment plan only asking for a 20% deposit with the balance at least 1 month before your Wedding Date. We also have bank facilities in the USA, Australia, Europe and the UK for deposit payments thus providing further savings on foreign currency exchange rate fees.
All payments to Unique Phuket Wedding Planners are followed up with a fully Thai registered company invoice and receipts.
Wedding Plan
At this stage, your Wedding Plan should be mature but it does not stay fixed except for Wedding Venue and Wedding Date. As your Wedding Planners learns to understand your requirements better and has all plans always change, flexibility is crucial.
We proceed to booking and then use as project management tool throughout the Wedding Planner process – a Wedding Spreadsheet for you. This simply lists all the items agreed for your Wedding and their costs. We have negotiated with all our partners a single cost for all the items to make the spreadsheet simpler and easier to manage. After booking this Wedding Spreadsheet is not changed unless mutually agreed and confirmed by email. This ensures strict control of the wedding budget and plans .
The Wedding Cost Spreadsheet is then supplemented with a Wedding Design document (if required) and then a Wedding Day Schedule – so all is clear and transparent.

There are many Wedding catering options and after booking this is what we concentrate on. Arrangements can be made from just refreshments at a Beach Wedding Ceremony to a full Wedding Reception menu. Almost anything is possible but we do send example menus to help start the menu creation process.

The choice of your Wedding Photography, and maybe videographer, is an important decision and we have a number of Wedding Professionals to chose from. After booking, we send a list with links to their Wedding Portfolios to help with the decision.

Wedding decorations and the design of them set the scene for your whole wedding
Uniquely, we do all wedding decorations and planning in-house with Supparin. Supparin is an established Wedding Design in her own right with the highly respected company Wedding Flowers Phuket .
Working also with numerous other Wedding Planners for Phuket and Overseas, she delivers exceptional wedding designs. This experience and knowledge we use to full effect on our Unique Phuket Wedding for you.
Wedding Celebrant & Master of Ceremonies
The choice of your Wedding Celebrant is another important consideration in How to Plan Your Wedding process. The celebrant will work with you in crafting your Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Vows. On the day, be a key part in the smooth running of your Wedding Ceremony.

Paul or Supparin reply within a working day
Usually within one Phuket working day. The reply is a considered note, not a brochure — what is achievable on your date, where it should sit on the island, and the two or three concrete next steps.

We hold a call when it helps
Many couples prefer a short video call before committing. It is the fastest way to test whether we are the right fit, and to talk through venue, season and the practical brief.

When the brief is clear we issue a written quote — every supplier named, every line itemised, every assumption stated. You can change any line before you sign.
How Paul & Supparin work
Two planners, every wedding.
Paul leads the planning conversation, writes the quote, officiates the ceremony, and is the on-the-day point of contact for the couple. Supparin (Toom) leads the in-house floral and styling work, runs the installation, and is the on-the-day point of contact for the venue and the suppliers.
Communication is by email and short calls — calm, responsive, and in English. We do not work to a sales script and we will not pressure a date. Couples who choose to plan with us almost always do so after a considered conversation, not on a first reply.
Planning here is unhurried by design. The wedding is one day; the months before it are a relationship.
Planning from overseas
A planning team used to planning across time zones.
Most couples we plan with live in another country and arrive in Phuket close to the wedding date. Fifteen years of doing this means the rhythm is unhurried for you — we site-visit on your behalf, share photographs and short films, hold calls at sensible hours, and carry the local logistics so you do not have to.
Where a site visit is possible, it is welcome but never required. Couples who arrive only a few days before the wedding are met, briefed in person, and walked through the day before we run it.
Asked often, answered briefly
When should we start planning?
Twelve months is comfortable for a villa or resort wedding. Six months is enough for an elopement or a beach ceremony. Shorter is sometimes possible — please ask before assuming it is not.
Do you only plan large weddings?
No. Elopements and small beach ceremonies are a meaningful part of what we do. The two of you on a quiet beach is taken as seriously as eighty guests at a villa.
Will Paul or Supparin be there on the day?
Yes. Paul officiates the ceremonies, Supparin leads the floral and styling install, and one of them is the on-the-day point of contact. The wedding is not handed off.
Are we tied to specific venues or suppliers?
No. We recommend venues and suppliers we know personally and will tell you honestly where they suit you and where they do not. If you arrive with a venue in mind, we will plan around it.
